Junior -

I'm not sure about the windows drivers. I'd google about it.

Regarding the file transfer: Unfortunately the iPhone doesn’t have a native file manager application. In order to transfer files to your iPhone I recommend third party solutions such as “Mobile Finder” , “File Magnet”, etc. Here is a good article about comparison of some of these applications:

I hope this was helpful.

Both PC (Windows 7) and iPhone (3G) have their Bluetooth as discoverable, on iPhone I've turned on 3G, Bluetooth, Cellular Data, Data Roaming and Internet Tethering. My Computer discovers the iPhone no problem, but when I select "Add Device..." or "Next" in the wizard, it fails to connect and the iPhone never discovers the Computer nor does it ask for any passwords, or codes, or anything at all.

iPhones are NOT Bluetooth capable for FTP. This means you may be able to discover other bluetooth devices but you will NOT be able to transfer data between them. iBluetooth on Cydia is the only way to do this, however, that entails having to jailbreak the phone. iPhone OS 4 for all its broo ha ha, did nothing to show that it will offer FTP for bluetooth only that it will be able to connect to a bluetooth keyboard. OOOh, a technology already on other smart phones since 1999. For all its pomp and ceremony the iPhone is still behind Blackberry, Samsung, Nokia and SonyEricsson in terms of USEFUL technology that one expects from a "smart phone".

I will be switching to a Nokia E-series or a Blackberry as the iphone has proven to be nothing more than a glorified playstation/iPod meant for 18 - 20 year olds with an IQ of a chair.

I'm having the same problem as Sarah, except mine used to connect. I had my laptop tethered to the iPhone a couple of months ago, no problem. Now it just won't connect. Any ideas?

I had a normal iPhone 3G which paired fine with my handsfree. New iPhone 3GS bought yesterday and it won't speak to my handsfree! Will try again and let you know but not tonight because I'm bored with technology.....!!!

Lol. Don't give up yet. Have you ever been able to do this before with another phone? If so, you shouldn't have any problem doing this with an iPhone. You maybe able to Google the type of car/handsfree unit you have and find some answers. If not, I'd be happy to help, I'll need to know what type is your car/handsfree unit?
