How to FTP on Firefox

Since Firefox came out, I’ve always wondered why it doesn’t provide the FTP login feature that Internet Exporer has (File > Login As). But, I was only astonished when I found out that on Firefox FTP’ing is as easy as typing into your address bar as below:

Via a Domain Address:
ftp://username:password@ftp.mydomain.com

Via an IP Address:
ftp://username:password@11.12.13.14
